The third mission is the complex of activities by which the university interacts with the society (citizens, agencies, institutions, companies, associations). 

For the FISPPA Department, these are mainly third-party activities (research or training activities in agreement with companies, organizations, associations, etc.), public engagement (activities of cultural or educational value aimed at the whole of society) and lifelong learning initiatives (in italian). The Museum of Education promotes a variety of activities aimed at the local area, with special attention paid to schools, young people and families.
